Customer Support Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated and technically skilled Customer Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and SaaS products, as well as excellent problem-solving, coding and communication skills. The Customer Support Engineer will be responsible for providing support to our customers via phone, email, and chat. They will also be responsible for working with our engineering team to resolve complex technical issues.

This position reports to Director of Customer Success.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and accurate support to customers via phone, email, and chat
  • Assist customers in troubleshooting their Yotascale platform related challenges and implementation of standard product features.
  • Investigate bugs, research the possible causes and document them
  • Document and track all customer interactions and resolutions
  • Work with the Engineering team to resolve complex technical issues
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends
  • Provide training and support to customers on product features and functionalities

Qualifications

  • Ability to take customer requests and reduce them to clear problem statements
  • Database query experience (SQL of any sort)
  • Experience with single page javascript browser applications
  • Zendesk & Jira experience a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work with complex technical platforms and distributed systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in customer support for a technical product
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and SaaS products
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
